Isn't this a bit morbid?
It doesn't have to be about death at all. Most people use Semperia for living milestones — a message that opens on a child's 18th, a wedding morning, a yearly birthday note, or just to keep a voice you love. It's a private archive of the moments that matter; the after-I'm-gone use is only one of many.
Who actually uses this?
Parents leaving a yearly message for a young child, couples saving a wedding note, families keeping a grandparent's stories, and people in higher-risk jobs whose employer gives it as a benefit. You're not doing something strange — you're doing something most people wish they had.
Will Semperia still exist in ten years?
The honest answer — and what we do about it — is on our Záruka / Trust page: you can export everything anytime in open formats, so your messages never depend on us being here. We're an EU company under EU law, not an anonymous app.
What happens after I record a message?
It is encrypted at rest and stays sealed inside your vault. Nobody — including us — can read or watch it. The only way it opens is a scan of your QR magnet plus your approval rules.
What if I never approve the scan?
Nothing leaks. After your response window expires (24 h, 72 h, or 7 days — your choice), the message can be auto-released, blocked, or routed to a trusted contact. You configure this before recording.
Do I pay every month?
No. Every tier is a one-time payment with clear storage and usage limits. No subscriptions, no hidden recurring fee. Upgrade later if you outgrow your tier — you only pay the difference.
Where is my data stored?
On EU servers, under EU privacy law. Content is encrypted with AES-256 and never indexed, mined, or sold. You can export everything or request deletion with one click.
What if I lose the QR magnet?
You can print a backup, order a replacement (free on the Legacy tier), or revoke the old magnet and issue a new one from your dashboard. The physical magnet alone never grants access — your rules do.
How is the content encrypted?
Your content is encrypted at rest and in transit with AES-256. Some metadata (recipients, alert addresses, magnet IDs) needs to be readable by our system to deliver notifications and run the approval window. Full details live in the Security page.
